Welder

Introduction

Are you experienced welder? Do you want to work for an international company with modern machines, a great atmosphere and good support? Join Vanderlande! You will work on important parts for systems at places like Hong Kong International Airport and UPS. 

What are you going to do?

As a welder, you work with MIG / MAG on carbon steel components. These parts are already pre-cut and bent. You follow a technical drawing to weld them together in the right way.  Your tasks: 

  • Set up your welding equipment
  • Prepare, assemble, and weld parts
  • Follow work instructions and technical drawings
  • Check the quality and report any issues
  • Help and guide less experienced colleagues
  • Suggest improvements on the work floor 
You will work with professional welding tables and high-end machines. Sometimes, you will also work with stainless steel. Want to see more about Vanderlande? Check out the video!   

What are the working hours?

You work in two shifts: 

  • Morning: 07:00 to 16:30
  • Evening: 16:15 to 23:00 with 120% shift allowance
Evening shift? Dinner is arranged for you! 

Who are you?

  • You can read technical drawings 
  • You have at least 3 years of experience with MIG / MAG welding 
  • You are precise and can work independently 
  • You enjoy helping other colleagues 
  • You are open to take a short welding test via the HOBIJ Academy 

What do you get?

A good salary – paid weekly on Fridays – between € 15.96 and € 22.20 gross per hour. Including 8% holiday allowance.  And that’s not all:

  • 130% overtime allowance on weekdays and Saturdays
  • 160% on public holidays, Saturdays after 14:00, and Sundays 
  • Work clothing and personal protection gear is taken care of

Where will you work?

Vanderlande is a global leader in logistics automation. They design and build systems for airports, warehouses and parcel services. Their factory in Veghel is a high-tech production site with over 100,000 work orders per year. From welding and laser cutting to coating and assembling, there’s always something to do and something new to learn!
