How to make a good CV?

Have you seen a great vacancy on our website? Then it’s time to apply! In that case, you will need a CV. We use this to check whether you are the right person for the job. But how do you know what to put in your CV? What not to put? And how do you make sure your CV stands out? In this article we explain how to go about it. Good luck!

What do you put in a CV?

To match you with that new job, we are looking for the following details:

• Your first and last name.
• Important contact details, such as your phone number, email address and current address.
• Relevant work experience.
  • Your work experience is current and not older than 3 years.
  • Include the name of the company you worked for, the job title and the period (example: October 2022 to August 2023) that you worked there.
  • Give a brief description of your duties.
• Education and courses followed by you.
• Certificates obtained.
• Also indicate whether you have a driving licence.

It is important that we can open and read your CV properly. Save the file as .pdf, .doc or .docx and do not send it as a photo. Keep it simple and clear.Adding a photo to your CV? Of course you can. In such a case, make sure you use a professional photo and not one taken at a party, for example.

Why is a CV so important?

As you have already read above, a recruiter uses a CV to determine whether you are a good match for a specific job. Not a good match, in our opinion? Then we will go through your CV again to see if we don’t have another suitable position for you.
