What is the difference between gross and net on my payslip? What is withheld?
Answer
On the first page of your payslip, you will see the total amount paid to you and the agreed deductions. On the second page, we delve deeper into this.
Here, for example, you will find a clear overview of what you earn gross, the wage tax we pay in the Netherlands and any other deductions. At the bottom is your net salary. This is the amount that is paid into your account.
